We continue our Employee of the Month series in which we celebrate achievement and recognise the hard work our incredible staff put into ending homelessness.
June’s winner is our Maintenance Manager, Theo Droushiotis. Theo has been a revelation since recently joining the team as our maintenance manager. He has quickly established himself as a vital cog in the maintenance team’s operation, bringing with him a wealth of experience. An incredibly warm, personable and friendly character, Theo coordinates our maintenance engineer’s response to our client needs. He handles all enquiries with humour, empathy and an unshakably calm persona.
We spoke to Theo to get to know a bit more about him and what was behind his success.
Congratulations on winning the June Stef & Philips employee of the month Theo. How did it feel to win?
It’s a lovely feeling, I appreciate being recognised for the work I have been doing since I joined.
What are your day-to-day responsibilities at S&P?
I manage the maintenance department; from coordinating our engineers in the field to ensuring whoever is in our units is comfortable and looked after.
How has your previous experience helped you to be successful in your current role?
I have been in the facilities and service industry for the last fifteen years; in that time I have seen it all.
What are you most proud of in your work at Stef & Philips?
I am most proud of being part of a team that ensures our tenants are looked after, giving them that extra little bit of service; whether that means a follow-up call or reassuring those who need us that we are here to help them
Any exciting development in the pipeline?
Yes, where to begin?? A new system is being introduced, which will improve the way we run the maintenance department allowing us to map our engineers’ territories to ensure better responses to name but a few things.
Congratulations Theo, keep up the good work.
Stay tuned for our July winner…
